I tested this also with 'Voice Recorder' on the Windows 10 PC. There is no quick mute/unmute button on your keyboard that. Unlike speakers though, you don’t get a lot of settings for the mic. They’re bundled with the same drivers that are used by the speakers. Drivers for the device are installed when you set up your system. When I record my voice with OBS Studio from Discord, my microphone volume is really low and in order to hear the playback audio, I would have to put the headset/speaker volume to 80% in order to hear my voice. An internal mic doesn’t need to be set up.
